Heart Owls

My haul from Simon Says Stamps came yesterday - it only took six days to get here - and I decided to play around with some of my new stash. I made this cute owl card and even though the clouds aren't perfect (still getting the hang of how much ink to use) I think it's still worth giving to somebody. The  "Heart Owls" and the "Clouds" background stamp are both from Hero Arts as is the Shadow Ink. I coloured the owls with Copic markers and the branch has been cut out using the Cricut Storybook cartridge. I had some old Basic Grey alphabets so used those for the sentiment.

    This is ADORABLE! I never knew I had a thing for owls until I started stamping. I just seem to gravitate to them on the shelf. This pair is too cute for words. And I like the cloud background as is. It gives it a softer look.

    So glad I found you through Kristina's blog color challenge!

    I know what you mean about the owls - they are just so cute and whimsical.
    I got another owl stamp the other day and can't wait to play with that too!
